ISTE SC’s RC plane club, Bartonair has its first hands on RC plane build session. From choosing materials, to laying out plans, cutting out plans and flying them - the basics of aero-modelling was covered in the session. The session started on morning 10 with 16 members grouped into a team of 4. Each team was taught the fundamentals of aircraft. The sheets were then cut out and meticulously formed to the shape of the planes. The teams models of Bushwacker and Piper J 3 Cub. The teams completed building the planes with flying colours that evening. The team members gained the skill to craft the Depron sheet with different kinds of joints and cuts to build the plane.
